So we would like to share a bit of our background on how our ideas for this joint clinic venture came about. We were originally classmates at the Surrey Institute of Osteopathic Medicine (SIOM), and following graduation we took our separate career pathways: Andy was quickly recognized for his clinical abilities and started as an associate in a well-established clinic in Epsom. I was destined to join my father’s chiropractic clinic in Sutton and took over the role of marketing, day to day clinic management and providing osteopathy as a new service offering.

We both did very well in our respective roles, building large patient databases based on reputation and service. But after spending 9 years in successful clinics run by well-reputed principals, it was not always easy to promote changes that fitted in with todays’ shifts and changes in healthcare.  A yearning for autonomy was bubbling under the surface and after a number of catch up sessions and cappuccinos at the local coffee shop, we realized we bonded over our passion for providing exceptional complementary healthcare to the community. We both understood how important it was for us to be consistent in demonstrating the core values we held in our hearts and try to portray them throughout everything we did, whether it be in consultation with a patient, giving treatment, through our social media or being out in the community.

We took on our premises in August 2018 and practically built the clinic ourselves with a great deal of help and support from family and friends. Literally our blood sweat and tears went into creating a clinic and filling it with services and therapists we are very proud of.

So now we have opened Bodyfix, we promise to build the clinic with the community in mind, adding health services that are either missing, needed and valued. Please pop in and see us, we are always up for a chat and happy to answer any questions!
