Chiropodist and Podiatrist

DpodM, MChS, HCPC Registered

I have been lucky enough to have been doing a job I love for the last 30 years. I’ve worked as a Chiropodist/Podiatrist since qualifying in 1988, in both the NHS and the private sector. My first 12 years, I worked for the NHS in the Putney community and Queen Mary’s Hospital. Here, I progressed in my career and was the lead foot specialist in a multidisciplinary Diabetic clinic and emergency wound clinic.

After leaving the NHS to have my two children, I started to work in the private sector. I’ve always loved my job and feel passionate about keeping people mobile and comfortable. Regular nail care and corn/callous maintenance coupled with good footwear advice are key to a persons mobility, wellbeing and the prevention of falls. Sometimes it’s this simple routine foot care that often gets left behind in modern day Podiatry.

I offer a professional and friendly Podiatry service for all foot ailments, including verrucas, ingrowing toenails, corns and soft tissue ailments such as plantar fasciitis. I am registered with the Health Care Professions Council, which ensures I work under a strict code of practice and conduct and maintain my Continued Professional Development.
