Osteopath MA (Hons), MOst
I graduated with a Master’s degree in Osteopathy from the International College of Osteopathic Medicine (ICOM) in Epsom, Surrey. As a registered osteopath, I also hold a qualification as an ITEC Level 4 Sports Massage Therapist.
After working as an accountant in the corporate world for many years, I decided to retrain as a sports massage therapist. I gained practical experience during an 18-month period at a local chiropractic clinic. From 2017 to 2018, I had the opportunity to work at the Classic Tournament for the Women’s Tennis Association in Birmingham. More recently, I have been fortunate to work at the Wimbledon Qualifying Tournament in Roehampton in both June 2022 and 2023. These experiences led me to pursue osteopathy as I witnessed the positive impact that manual therapies have on patient well-being. This year, I had the pleasure of treating athletes at the Wimbledon Tennis tournament.
Throughout my career, I have treated adults of various ages, with a particular focus on individuals engaged in physical activities and sports enthusiasts.
Osteopathy offers a comprehensive approach that not only helps prevent and treat injuries but also contributes to improved performance and recovery. This is achieved by addressing structural alignment, improving joint mobility, promoting healing, and reducing pain.
I provide personalized treatment tailored to each patient’s condition. My techniques include manipulation, mobilization, muscle energy techniques, and soft tissue work.
During my spare time, I enjoy running, walking, golf, Pilates, scuba diving, and recently, weight training has become an interest of mine.
