Registered Acupuncturist with the British Acupuncture Council.

I am a licensed and registered Acupuncturist with the British Acupuncture Council.

My background before my Acupuncture journey was diverse and included corporate roles in Marketing, Human Resources, and Recruitment.  I spent ten years living in Australia, which helped trigger my interest in the field of Chinese Medicine.

Acupuncture in Australia seemed to be so wide spread and accepted as part of an individual’s routine health care, that when my own health needed attention, acupuncture was one of the routes I turned to.  After an accident when I was 22, I experienced severe back pain, which was only relieved by acupuncture.  When friends and colleagues mentioned ailments or aches and pains, I found myself always recommending acupuncture.  I eventually decided I should put my ‘money where my mouth was’ and retrain in acupuncture.

I returned to London in 2009 and began full time training, which began at The London College of Traditional Acupuncture, where I gained a Certificate in Higher Education in Oriental Medicine.  I continued training at The College of Integrated Medicine in Reading, before beginning a Masters degree at London South Bank University.

I have a passion for acupuncture, and am constantly amazed with the results that can be achieved, across such a diverse range of conditions.

Alongside my extensive training, I have undertaken a number of post grad courses in areas of personal interest, including Pediatric Acupuncture and Fertility & IVF Support.

Women’s Health is of particular interest to me and has been a main focus of my practice for a number of years including aspects such as Cycle Regulation (including PMS, Menorrhagia, Dysmenorrhea, Amenorrhea, PCOS) Sub-Fertility and Artificial Fertility support (including IVF), Peri and Menopausal symptoms.

Pregnancy support along with post-natal support is also a very important part of my practice, and I personally used acupuncture extensively before, during, and after my own pregnancies.

Other keys areas of practice for me are anxiety, depression, stress management, and insomnia.

I am a full member of the British Acupuncture Council, and adhere strictly to their codes and practices.  I am also on the Professional Standards Authority Register.
